Secrets is a small hotel on Soi Buakhao with a bar on the ground floor. It is not a resort and does not pretend to be. There is no pool and no lift, the building is older, and the rooms are plain.
What it does have is space, a location almost nothing can beat, and people who run the place properly. Guests rate the location8.7 and the staff 8.4. A lot of them are on their third, fourth or fifth stay.
If you want a clean, roomy base with a balcony, walking distance from everything, and a drink waiting downstairs, this is a good bet.

Open in the evenings, run by the same people who run the hotel. Cold beer, a proper spirits shelf, pool, and live music some nights. It is a good place to start the evening or to finish one.
It is directly below the rooms and guests consistently tell us it does not keep them awake. The quieter rooms face away from the street.
